THIS YEAR’S KU-MU BORDER SHOWDOWN REACHES NEW HEIGHTS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – It’s the last time the University of Kansas Football Team will play the University of Missouri’s Football Team in a Big 12 Conference game this Thanksgiving Weekend. And to celebrate the longtime KU-MU Border Showdown, McDonald’s will give one lucky winner $10,000 as well as other prizes.

Local McDonald’s restaurants are selling limited edition KU-MU Border Showdown cups with the purchase of a large drink. These special cups and the chance to win $10,000 and other prizes are only available until Nov. 26. The Border Showdown is the name of an intense rivalry between the University of Missouri Tigers and the University of Kansas Jayhawks. This football game is played on Saturday, November 26at Arrowhead Stadium. This year’s game marks the fifth consecutive season these two Big 12 rivals have met at Arrowhead and will be the 120th overall meeting between the two teams. This game also marks the 26th time in the series that the two schools will face off in Kansas City.
