SKC Communications, Kansas City’s top communications technology company, hosts fourth annual summit

SHAWNEE, Kan. – Leaders in high-tech communications will meet in Kansas City again this year for one of the industry’s top communication technology conferences. SKC Communications, along with its top manufacturer partners, sponsor the summit each year offering educational sessions and exhibits introducing the latest communication technology solutions as well as face-to-face networking opportunities and technology demonstrations. Technology highlights include Telepresence/videoconferencing, VoIP, Collaboration, Unified Communications, headsets, A/V integration and more.

“We continue to offer this first-class event in Kansas City because we enjoy sharing the future of business communications right here in our hometown,” said Tray Vedock, president and CEO of SKC. “We spotlight top manufacturers so that local and regional IT and Technology professionals can benefit from the unique educational breakout sessions plus enjoy networking with the top experts in the industry.”

SKC’s Smart Communications Technology Summit features exhibits and breakout sessions for IT professionals and decision-makers who are looking to increase productivity and reduce costs in their organizations through communication technology solutions. The Summit’s enriching experience, including learning, networking, demonstrations and expert keynote speakers, is a two-day event in Kansas City on August 2-3, 2011.

Day one begins at the SKC headquarters in Shawnee, Kan. with an Open House showcasing how SKC uses the technology in its own operations, followed by a networking event that evening in downtown Kansas City. Day 2 graduates to a full day of exhibits and breakout sessions at the Kansas City Convention Center’s Grand Ballroom. The event is free to attend but registration is required at www.skccom.com/techsummit.

Now in its fourth year, the Summit exhibits more than 20 industry-leading communication companies, including Cisco, Polycom, Avaya, Plantronics, AMX and Crestron.
